Woman Accused of Bringing Drugs into Pike County Detention Center

Several drug charges have been levied at a woman from South Williamson that officials allegedly tried to bring meth, cocaine and fentanyl into the Pike County Detention Center.

Kentucky State Police say it started with a traffic stop in which the driver, Mary Sidney, was found to have active arrest warrants and was placed under arrest.

When she got to the jail a search of her body turned up the drugs which KSP alleges she did not tell anyone she had and had hidden when they were searching her car.
