A traffic stop on US-460 has led to the arrest of a Johnson County man.
Kentucky State Police and Paintsville Police say they discovered a substantial amount of drugs in that traffic stop.
Police called for help from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 officer, Boss.
Upon a search of the vehicle, a white crystal substance believed to have been meth was discovered.
46-year-old Charles Andrew Hammond of Thealka was placed under arrest.
Paintsville Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests could follow.
