The number of first time filings for unemployment are increasing across Kentucky.
That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending December 27th, there were more than four-thousand first time filings in the state, which is more than 18-hundred more filings than the week prior.
Nationally, there was a decrease in the number of initial filings for the week.
