Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Johnson County

A traffic stop for speeding led to a drug arrest.

A Johnson County deputy stopped Forrest Davis for going 73 mph in a 55-mph zone.

When he smelled marijuana, the deputy asked Davis where the marijuana was, and Davis said in the back seat.

That is where the deputy found an overturned box which spilled approximately 100 packages of pot and pot products.

Davis was arrested on trafficking.
