A lockdown Tuesday afternoon at Flat Gap Elementary School in Johnson County.
The school was put on lockdown after people reported hearing gunfire nearby.
Police reportedly cleared the scene and found no threat to the school.
Officials say all students and staff stayed safe inside the building.
Students were dismissed safely at the end of the day, though parent pickups and bus routes ran a bit late.
