The Mark Pope era at the Univ. of Kentucky is underway! On Sunday, the UK Fans a packed Rupp Arena, as the former UK player and captain of the 1996 Wildcat National Championship Team, Mark Pope was officially introduced as the new Kentucky men’s basketball coach.
As part of the UK Radio Network, Tonight on our sister station Classic Hits Radio 99.3 FM/AM 600 WKYH will air Two Special UK coaches shows. From 6-7 pm tonight will be Darren Hendrick hour with new UK Women’s basketball coach Kenny Brooks followed from 7-8 pm by an hour show with new UK men’s basketball coach Mark Pope hosted by Tom Leach.
