Floyd County Schools is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and well-being of our community during today’s flooding. South Floyd Elementary School will be open as a warming shelter, offering residents access to food and electricity.
We encourage anyone in need of warmth, food, or shelter to take advantage of these resources. Floyd County Schools remains dedicated to supporting our students, families, and neighbors during this time. We are grateful for the efforts of local officials, first responders, and volunteers who are working to keep our community safe.
