A Pike County man was arrested Sunday night after he was accused of strangling a woman in a gas station parking lot earlier that afternoon.
Police in Pike County were called to the Jiffy Stop to investigate a possible assault.
Security footage allegedly shows Jason Ryan Ratliff, of Elkhorn City, getting out of his truck, walking over to the woman, and beginning to choke her while she held her infant daughter in her arms.
The woman said she bit Ratliff on the nose to get him to let go of her.
Ratliff turned himself in to Pikeville Police later that night.
