A recent sweep for drugs and contraband was conducted at the Big Sandy Regional Jail.
In a prepared statement, the facility said it conducted the sweep throughout the entire complex, utilizing manpower in conjection with K9 assistance.
The statement said that no contraband was found within the facility.
The jail says the positive outcome underscores the importance of teamwork in maintaining safety and security throughout the entire institution.
BSRDC also said it is grateful to Fraley’s Training Service for their support in conducting the search.
