SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2024) – A new interchange at Cow Creek and the Mountain Parkway is now open in Magoffin County, approximately 10 miles west of Salyersville. New lane switches along the same section of the corridor in Magoffin County, from approximately mile markers 65 to 68, are also in place to allow crews access to complete construction along the Magoffin-West segment of the expansion.
Motorists traveling eastbound and westbound on the Mountain Parkway from mile markers 65 to 68 are encouraged to be alert, reduce speeds and use caution when driving through this area and all active work zones.
Message boards, barricades, barrels and arrow signage are in place to alert motorists to the changes.
Construction schedules may be adjusted due to weather or other unforeseen events.
