A traffic stop for expired plates has a Magoffin County man facing several drug charges.
Magoffin County deputies arrested 56-year-old Daniel Jackson as he was arriving at his home near Royalton after a canine officer alerted to something in the car.
The search found a large flashlight with meth inside and a box with more meth.
Deputies also found a small bag of heroin stuffed between the back seats.
Jackson is being charged with several drug and traffic violations.
