The Johnson Central Lady Eagles fell behind early to a Very Good George Washington Team out of Charleston, W. Va in the Logan (W.Va) Wildcats Classic on Saturday. The Lady Eagles would toughen up their Defense and got their Offense moving in the 2nd Half, but their comeback fell just short with the Final Score (49-41).
The Loss was the First of the Season for JCHS, who now falls to 14-1 overall. G.W. W.Va improves to 8-2 with the Win.
The Lady Eagles return Home on Monday Night in another 57th District Rival Game, hosting Magoffin Co on Monday, Jan 8 @ 7PM. The Lady Eagles JV squad will be playing Floyd Central on Monday at Home beginning at 5:30 PM.
