PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WXKQ) – Kentucky State Police Post 9 has wrapped up Operation Mountain Justice, a coordinated effort targeting suspected drug trafficking across its service area.
The operation resulted in 28 arrests and 54 criminal charges.
Troopers seized nearly 4.7 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 130 grams of suspected fentanyl, three firearms and about $1,500 in cash.
Police estimate the street value of the drugs at more than $102,000.
State police say the operation was aimed at disrupting drug trafficking networks and improving public safety across the region.
