PIKEVILLE, Ky. (September 13, 2025) – Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post was notified of a two-vehicle fatal collision in Pike County at approximately 3:30 p.m. on September 12, 2025. The collision occurred on Chloe Road in the Pikeville community of Pike County.
Upon arrival, and through investigation, troopers discovered Jessica Goble was operating a 2009 Cadillac CTS when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet 3500 being operated by Eddie Wolford. Goble was transported to a nearby hospital where she later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the collision. The investigation is ongoing by KSP Accident Reconstructionist, Trooper Matt Smith.
Trooper Smith was assisted on scene by Kentucky State Police Post 9 personnel, Millard Volunteer Fire Department, and Lifeguard Ambulance Service.
