Johnson County Man Arrested in Connection With 2025 Fatal Floyd County Crash

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – A Johnson County man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred more than a year ago in Floyd County.

Forty-two-year-old Joshua Conley of Boyd Branch in Paintsville is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and driving on a DUI-suspended license.

Authorities say Conley was allegedly under the influence when he was involved in a crash on U.S. 23 near Town Branch in Prestonsburg on May 20, 2025.

The crash ultimately led to the death of 71-year-old Susan Pratt of Kingsport, Tennessee.

He is being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville.

An initial court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
