Johnson Central 6 vs. Paintsville 4
JCHS Sr. Brock Butcher went 3/4 with 3 Singles, Kaleb and Kyler Callaham each had 2 RBI’s as the Golden Eagles held on for the 6-4 Victory over their Rival Paintsville Tigers Monday Night in 57th District Baseball action. Jr. Dawson Montgomery picked up the Win for JCHS, allowing 3 Runs on 1 Hit, striking our 2 and walking 3 Paintsville batters. JC starter Sr. Cameron Kelsy pitched 3 and a third innings, allowing 1 run, 2 hits, stiking out 4 and walking 2. Sr. Brock Butcher picked up the Save for the Golden Eagles in one inning of work. Tiger starter Jr. Brock Horne got the loss, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits, stirking out 3 and walking 2 in 4 2/3 innings of work. Paintsville left 8 runners on base in the game on 4 hits. Johnson Central improves to 10-11 overall, but more importantly 4-0 in District standings. Paintsville evens their record to 11-11 and 0-2 in District play. Johnson Central will nexrt be in action at Home on Wednesday vs Martin Co, while Paintsville will travel to Magoffin Co Tonight @ 6 PM.
