Governor Andy Beshear along with Floyd County Judge Executive Robbie Williams and Magoffin County Judge Executive Matt Wireman will join local, state, and federal officials to break ground on the final section of the Mountain Parkway Expansion – a 13-mile stretch of new four-lane highway that will connect Salyersville to Prestonsburg.
The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Monday.
Another section of U.S. 23 in Kentucky is undergoing a repaving project beginning next Monday starting at the Boyd and Lawrence county lines.
