A 19-year-old Floyd County man, Austin Skykes, was arrested by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Department for shooting a neighbor’s dog.
Skykes reportedly told the deputies he had shot the dog after it had destroyed insulation under his trailer.
If he is convicted, he could face one to five years in prison.
