Foul play is not suspected in the death of a Pikeville man after a fire in his hotel room at the Paintsville Days Inn.
First responders were called to hotel after a cleaning person found the room had been set on fire and a man was dead on the floor.
The man, identified as Barry Gordan Stambaugh, of Pikeville, was believed to have fallen asleep while smoking in bed.
Preliminary autopsy results state that Stambaugh died of smoke inhalation and no foul play is suspected.
