Multiple repair sites on State Road Fork set for Aug 27-30

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises the public of daytime closures for drilling repairs in Floyd County.

Crews will repair multiple sites along KY 1427 (State Road Fork) from mile point 1.8 through mile point 6.0. The closures will last from 8 am to 5 pm daily. During this time, crews drill and repair embankments. Due to the narrow road widths and size of the drilling equipment, a daytime closure is needed for this type of repair.

Emergency Vehicles and School Buses will be accommodated. All other motorists will need to detour during working hours. Please exercise caution in work zones and follow posted signage.

Schedules are based on weather conditions. Nattco, Inc. has been contracted to perform the work.
