The chief of police for Martin County Schools is facing DUI charges.
Kentucky State Police report 41-year-old Chris Kidd was arrested on Sunday after being stopped for speeding on U.S. 23 in Pikeville.
KSP reports Kidd performed poorly on field sobriety tests and blew point-one-four on a breathalyzer, well above the legal limit of point-zero-eight.
Leaders with Martin County Schools have not said whether Kidd is still employed.
