Former Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin could face jail time or a fine after a Jefferson Family Court judge found him in contempt for failing to comply with court orders.
According to WKYT, the dispute stems from an ongoing legal battle involving Bevin’s adopted son, Jonah, who is seeking financial support and assistance with his education.
During a hearing Friday, Judge Angela Johnson issued an arrest warrant for Bevin.
He will either serve 14 days in jail or pay a 250-dollar fine. A similar warrant was previously issued in March.
