Two people are recovering from smoke inhalation following a New Year’s Day fire in Perry County.
The Avawam Fire Department assisted Krypton firefighters at the scene around 6 a.m. Officials say a home and a garage are completely destroyed.
The Red Cross has been notified.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
