A Wolfe County woman is accused of aborting her own baby and burying the infant in her yard.
Kentucky State Police say 35-year-old Melinda Spencer has been arrested and charged with first-degree fetal homicide.
Troopers responded to United Clinic in Campton after Spencer reportedly told medical staff she ordered medication online and used it to terminate the pregnancy.
The body of the baby was found buried in a shallow grave on Spencer’s property on Flat Mary Road, according to KSP.
