Wittensville Man Arrested for Burglary at Former Jerry’s Restaurant Building

An investigation into a burglary in Prestonsburg has led to the arrest of Jeremy Lee Perry, of Wittensville. 

Police received reports of a suspicious person and vehicle parked behind the old Jerry’s Restaurant early Friday morning. 

The police questioned Perry who told them he had a flat tire.  

The investigation found multiple manual and power tools inside the building including a grinder marked with the initials J.P., and several tools inside of Perry’s vehicle were marked the same way.

Perry was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglar tools, and criminal mischief.
