Embankment Repair Work Scheduled on KY 1750 in Johnson County Beginning June 16

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 (KYTC D12) advises motorists that contractor Blue Rock Inc. will begin embankment repair work on KY 1750 at mile point 3.7, near the intersection with US 23, starting midday Monday, June 16.

Crews will be drilling to stabilize embankments over the course of two to three days, with daily work hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Due to the large size of the drilling equipment and the narrow width of the roadway, significant traffic delays are expected while work is underway. Motorists should make accommodations and seek alternate routes, especially during peak travel hours. Emergency Vehicles will be accommodated.

Please watch for warning signage and crew members working in the area. Safety for both workers and drivers remains our top priority.

KYTC District 12 thanks the public for their continued patience and cooperation as we work to improve and stabilize the road infrastructure in Johnson County.
