A Lawrence County family home was severely damaged by a fire on Wednesday.
The Fallsburg Volunteer Fire Department reported that the fire happened at about 4:15 p.m. at a home just off Highway 23.
The home was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived.
No injuries were reported, but the fire did kill several of the family’s pets.
