Kentucky Comes Back to Beat Duke in The Champions Classic

The Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Team used a 2nd Half comeback Tuesday Night after trailing by nine at the half, to beat the Duke Blue Devils (77-72) in Champions Classic from Atlanta. Otega Oweh finished with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals. His play in the final minutes sealed the game for the CATS.

Andrew Carr led UK with 17 points, five rebounds, and three assists. (Nine of his points came in the second half).  Amari Williams rounded out UK’s double-digit scorers with 10 points and eight rebounds. 

UK is now 3-0 and will have the rest of the week off. They will return to action on Tuesday, Nov 19 against Lipscomb at Rupp Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:00pm.
