Economic development near Prestonsburg is the goal of two potential projects in Floyd County.
WYMT reported that one of projects is on land the county owns just of US 23 that needs to be prepared to take in new business in a possible retail location.
The county is still working to purchase the former Thunder Ridge property near Prestonsburg with plans to turn the space into an industrial site.
