Paintsville police with the assistance of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department found more than a half a pound of meth.
The bust happened on Main Street and resulted in the arrest of 36-year-old Sherry Lynn Ferguson of Paintsville.
Police obtained a search warrant of her home and found several drugs, $5,000 in cash, and paraphernalia.
Ferguson has several charges including trafficking of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school.
