The Kentucky Department of Transportation advises motorists of one-lane traffic and delays along KY 40E in Johnson County near Buffalo Rd for multiple cross-drain replacements. The work site is located between mile-points 16.0 and 16.6 (3.1 miles West of KY 1107).
Crews will replace two existing cross drains Oct. 8 and 9 , working from 7:30 a.m to 5:30 pm each day. During this time the road will be reduced to one-lane traffic controlled by on-site flaggers.
Motorists will need to plan for long delays and use an alternate route during peak travel times. Please pay close attention to signage and crews in the area.
KYTC will perform the work. Schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
