The Paintsville Tigers have been playing some Great Basketball over the last few weeks. Last week the Tigers competed in the Mountain Schoolboy Classic at Belfry H.S. and finished as Runner-up.
In Game 1, the Tigers defeated Huntington Expression Prep, Huntington, W.Va (56-54). Game 2, PHS defeated the host school Belfry (57-48), but in the Championship Game, Paintsville lost to a very good Avon, Indiana team (64-38).
The loss dropped the Tigers to 7-4 overall on the season. Paintsville will return to action on Wednesday evening versus Perry Co Central at PHS. Game Time is set for 7:30 PM and available on K 94.7 FM WKLW and www.wklw.com
