JOHNSON COUNTY (February 8, 2017) – Major intersection construction begins Monday, February 13, at KY 40/KY 1428 in Johnson County. Work is expected to continue through the first of April. Motorists can expect brief delays in this work zone until the project is finished.
Highway District 12 Engineering Tech Mike Blevins said that new traffic signals, sidewalk, and handicap ramp will improve safety at the intersection. “We apologize for the temporary inconvenience this may cause, but we know that these upgrades will not only make the intersection safer for everyone, they will also make for a better driving experience in this area. We want to thank everyone in advance for their understanding and patience.”
