Eating cheese every day might protect you from having a heart attack or stroke, according to a new study.
Researchers in Britain say eating about one and-a-half ounces of cheese each day cuts the chance of having a heart attack by 14-percent.
They say all cheeses are rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins that help protect against heart disease.
Cheese has high levels of calcium so, even though it’s high in fat, less of that fat is absorbed by the body.
The study is published in the “European Journal of Nutrition.”
