Turkey Recipes from Local Kindergarten Students

Each year, we enjoy sharing turkey recipes from local kindergarten students.  We will be adding more recipes from different kindergarten classes throughout the week.

 

Paintsville Elementary School – Mrs. Pugh’s Kindergarten Class

Lyllian Arms- My grandparents would take me to a farm to get a turkey for Thanksgiving. We would bring home put it on the stove and cook it somehow. I think the turkey ran out of the woods. The turkey will need to be on 5 degrees for 10 minutes. Mommy will do all the cooking for us. We will take a bath and go to bed after we eat. I like Thanksgiving.

Kaden Bentley- My brother will go to the woods and get a turkey. He is big because he is 19. Mommy will get the feathers out of the turkey and put in the stove but you have to squeeze it in the pot. Me and mommy will fix the food like corn and chicken. We need to have the stove on 1, 2, and 4 degrees for 6 minutes. We sometimes play outside after we eat. I don’t like Thanksgiving because I don’t like turkey.

Cameron Blair- We get the turkey from the farm. We bring the turkey home put it in the oven for hours on 80 degrees. 80 degrees is very hot so we would need to cool it off. We have a big huge crowd so we have to go in the dining room. We will have mashed potatoes and green beans and corn. I love to eat but not the green beans but my brother will eat them. We get to go to family after we eat. I love Thanksgiving.

Gunner Blanton- I will run around and catch a turkey that weighs 100 pounds at the farm. My mommy will fry the turkey on the stove on warm degrees but not hot. You do that for 4 minutes. We might bring the turkey to McDonald’s to eat it. I think we need chicken nuggets with it. We will have family eat with us.

Lillian Owens- Mommy will get a turkey that is brown from a farm close to Papaw Brown’s house. Mommy and Daddy will cook it. They each have a job in the kitchen. They will put it in a big pan on the stove for 20 seconds.. We will have corn, mac and cheese and gravy. We can’t eat all this ourselves so we have a lot of family come over. They eat some in the living room, on the stairs and upstairs at the old house. At the new house it might have to be the same. My favorite part is the turkey because I love turkey.

Lilian Farmer- The turkey walks to our house and my mom or dad kills it. They take off the feathers and put it on the stove at 100 degrees for 10 minutes. We make mashed potatoes with the turkey. We go to Nannie’s or Mamaw’s house to have the dinner. I love blueberry pie with it.. We love to play tag after we eat and then we go home after that.

Ben Caudill- Mom always buys a turkey at Wal-Mart. She cooks it in the microwave for about 100 minutes. I don’t eat the turkey but my family does. We eat at our house . I eat sugar toast sticks instead of the turkey. I like to catch my own turkey and put ketchup on it.

Ivy Fields- We go to our grandparent’s house to eat Thanksgiving. We get a turkey from town and you put it in the oven for 20 minutes on 80 degrees. Mom does most of the cooking . She will make corn and soup beans with it. After we eat, we all take a naps. We can play after the nap.

Kenley Francis- The turkey comes out of an animal at the farm. Mommy will go get it. I’ve never had the turkey. Mommy will put it in the oven for 4 minutes on hot degrees. We will eat at our house at the square table. She can make corn, broccoli, and spaghetti with the turkey on Thanksgiving Day. My sister and friends come over to eat with us.. I think I will like the turkey this year.

Kylen Gillespie- I will find a farm that has turkeys in it and Daddy will kill the turkey. We will take the feathers off and put it in the oven for 6 minutes on hot degrees. Mom will cook chicken with it and mashed potatoes. She will put all the food on the table and my big family that comes over will eat with us. I love to eat turkey and cake. When we get done eating we go and play and have fun.

Hayden Harless- My papaw will get the turkey this year in the woods. My mom will cook the turkey in the crockpot for 65 minutes on 100 degrees. Mom will get the bones out of the turkey for us. We mostly like to eat the beef meat but this dinner we will eat turkey. Mom makes mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, that’s my best food.. We will have peach cobbler and strawberry cake. The neighbors will come and eat with us. We all eat at the table. I love Thanksgiving for the cake.

Silas Howard- Dad will go to the woods near the Paintsville Lake to get the turkey. When Dad brings the turkey home, Mom cooks it on the stove for three hours on 90°. She makes corn and my dad will make the cookies. My grandparents will come and eat with us. We only have two tables for us to eat at so everybody else eats in the living room. I like Thanksgiving because we get to draw pictures of things we love. I love turkey.

Beau Jones- Papaw goes to the woods to get the turkey, he has an ax with him. We go back to the house and she cooks the turkey on the stove in a pot for 10 minutes which is a lot. She cooks it on mild degrees. She pours pizza and peppers on it. We say a prayer before we eat. She has corn, chicken, mashed potatoes, pizza, and mac and cheese. After we get done eating we relax. I love Thanksgiving because every time we give Thanksgiving God likes it.

R. J. Maynard- I will get a turkey at Food City two days before we go to the cabin. My dad will cook the turkey in the oven at the cabin. The turkey needs to be on 45° for 10 minutes. Mom will have corn, mac and cheese and drink milk with the meal. My mommy bakes cheesecake for five minutes in the oven. After we eat, I play my iPad and then we go for a hike. I love Thanksgiving.

Jenna Cantrell- Mommy will go to Walmart to get a turkey and bring it home. She will put it on the stove. She will put it on 23° for two days. My family will eat with us. We will have pizza, rolls, corn and mac and cheese. I love to eat turkey.

Skyler Spradlin- Mommy will go to Shell to get the turkey. The turkey comes already cooked. We love it! We eat cheese with it and drink juice.

Haylee Meadows- We will go as a family to Walmart to get our turkey. Mommy will do the cooking of the turkey. She will put it in the pot on the stove on 50° for 150 minutes. She will add salt and hot pepper to it. We will have mashed potatoes and green beans with it. Our family will eat at the table.

Axle Wright- Mom will go buy a turkey at the food store. She will put it on the stove for 15 minutes for very hot. She will have corn and green beans with it. We will have rolls also with it. We eat at our house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Zoe Taylor- We go to Food City to get a turkey. My granny cooks it and sister at her house. We put the turkey in the oven for 15° degrees for five hours.

 

Paintsville Elementary School – Mrs. Schmitt’s Class

Jackson Blair – My papaw hunted the turkey. Then he brought it home. He put it in the oven for 30 minutes straight. Papaw just made the turkey. Mamaw made apple pie, peach pie, carrots, broccoli, mashed potatoes and rolls. Jessalyn, Christian, mom, dad, mamaw, and papaw ate with me. After we ate, we played outside.

Connor Carroll – Mommy gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Then she brings it home. She puts it in the oven. She puts it in for 20 minutes. Mommy fixes strawberry pie, cupcakes, oranges, mashed potatoes, green beans, grape pie, and cornbread. Mommy, daddy, and Colin eat with me. After we eat, we play outside. I ride my four-wheeler.

Ryder Cole – My mom gets the turkey from the cabinet.  Then she cooks it. She probably cooks it 30 seconds, but I don’t eat turkey. She probably fixes corn, mashed potatoes, pie, I think. My mom and dad eat with me and Ethan eats in the living room. After we eat, we lay down for a minute then go somewhere to look around, like stores.

Jayden Dials – My mom gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Then she baked it. She baked it for 10 minutes. She fixes pie, ham, pumpkin pie, carrots, corn, gravy, mashed potatoes, dressing, and rolls. My dad, mom, and sister eats with me. After we eat, we go swim at the Ramada.

Bentley Fleming – My dad gets the turkey at Wal-Mart and gives the turkey to mom. Then mom cooks it for 33 minutes. While the turkey is cooking dad goes to the cabin and gets the corn. Then what happens they cook some pie in the oven. Then they fix mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, dressing, and ham. Then they fix a big table for everyone to eat at with a beautiful cover for the table. It has pies and turkeys on it. They put a pillow on my chair to make it tall and comfy. Dad, mom, my brother, and my sister eat with me. I ask my cousins to eat with me too because they love what we fix. After I eat I play my iPad and watch videos.

Aden Folz – My dad gets the turkey in the woods. Then he brings it home. Me and my mom puts it in the oven. After we get it out we put a little bit of salt on it. Mom fixes apple pie, pumpkin pie, sweet corn, green beans, and applesauce for my dad. My sissy, bubby, Auntie Beth, and big Scottie eat with me. After we eat we play games.

Caden Hensley – Mom gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Then she brings it home and cooks it. She probably cooks it 9 – 100 minutes. I like my turkey burnt. She fixes baked potatoes, steak, corn, green beans, rolls, and I put butter in my roll. She fixes brownies for dessert. My dad, brother, and mom eats with me. After we eat we play.

Caylee Hensley – Mom gets the turkey at the store. Mom cooks the turkey. She cooks it 8 hours. mom fixes jelly pie, pumpkin pie, corn, green beans, potatoes. My friends eat with me. After we eat we play.

Bailey Hall – Gran gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Gran puts it in the oven for 6 minutes. She doesn’t put a thermometer in it. She fixes mashed potatoes, carrots, and bread. Gran, Piper, Brooke, and Paisley the dog eat with me. After we eat, we play and Gran reads her book in the living room.

Toriana Hall – Mom gets the turkey at the store. It was already done. Mom fixes corn, beans, rolls, strawberry pie, butter cake, and brownies. My mom, dad, and sisters eat with me. After we eat, we go outside and play.

Karson Kelly – My Dad gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Dad fixes the turkey. He puts it in the oven for 7 minutes. Dad fixes toast and chocolate chip cookies. That’s everything I love. Mom fixes broccoli, mashed potatoes, rolls, pumpkin pie, and cake. Grant is the server. My mom, dad, Kennedy, and Grant eat with me. After I eat, I play.

Andrew Kimbler – My dad buys the turkey at Wal-Mart because he’s the strongest. We take the turkey to papaw’s house and put it on the grill. Papaw grills it for 14 minutes. Mom and Nana usually fix the easy things like mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, apple pie, and brownies. My nana, papaw, mom, dad, and Alex eat with me. After we eat, we play outside.

Gage Music – My dad gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. Mom cooks the turkey. She cooks it for 100 minutes. She fixes carrots, salad, broccoli, ice cream, and slushy. My grandma, granddad, dad, and my mom eat with me. After I eat, I play on my iPad.

Brooklyn Rednour – My dad gets the turkey at the Wal-Mart store. My dad unwraps it and puts it in the water. Dad takes out of the water and puts it in a pan. Then he puts pepper and salt on it. Then he puts it in the oven. He puts it in for 10 minutes. Mom fixes macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, and strawberry cake. My sister, cousins, my mom, dad, mamaw, and papaw eat with me. We play outside after we eat.

Christopher Salyers – My mom usually gets the turkey at Wal-Mart. We she gets home she puts dressing inside it with a turkey squirter. Then she puts it in the oven. She bakes it 22 minutes. My mom calls my nanny over to help with Thanksgiving. Me and nanny make pizza bites and green beans for everybody. Mommy makes mashed potatoes, carrots, pumpkin pie, and ice cream. My nanny, Hunter, Mason, dad, mom, and Westley eat with me. We play games outside after we eat. Games where we find treasure.

Davi Sammons – My mom gets the turkey at the supermarket. My nana washes it in the water and puts it in the oven. She leaves it in the oven for 21 minutes. Then she takes it out and puts it on the table. My nana cooked it all. Nana fixed mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, green beans, rolls, strawberry pie, and strawberry cake. My nana, papaw, mom, dad, Uncle Matt, and Jenner eat with me. I play with my Barbie Dolls after I eat and watch Beauty and the Beast.

Luke Scott – We don’t get a turkey. We go to mamy’s to eat. My aunt brings the turkey to mamaw’s. My mom takes the beans to mamaw’s. Everyone brings the food. We have rolls, corn, macaroni, mashed potatoes, and cakes. Mamaw always has popsicles for us to eat. I eat with all my family. We play outside after we eat. All the dads and mommies just sit on the porch and eat more.

Taylor Spriggs – Mom gets the turkey at the store. She cooks it in the oven for 10 minutes. She fixes salad I think. She fixes mashed potatoes, carrots, corn, green beans, and rolls. My mommy, dad, sissy, bubby, Mamaw Ruby, and Papaw Dale eat with me and that’s all. We watch TV after we eat.

Isabella Sexton – Mamaw gets the turkey at the store. Mom fixes turkey. Cooks on stove. We eat cookies and turkey. Mom, dad, mamaw, bubby eat with me. I play after I eat.

Abel Witt – Dad goes to the store and gets the turkey. Then, mommy is going to cook it. Mommy cooks it for 4 minutes. Then, get it out of the oven. Mommy fixes strawberry pie, beans, maybe some lettuce, and I might have some gravy and some mashed potatoes and that’s all. Actually we go to grandma’s house, and grandma cooks. After we eat we go to Nanny’s house to play.

 

Paintsville Elementary School – Pam Blankenship & Jean Hackworth’s Kindergarten Class:

Madison Adams – First, I would go to Wal-Mart with my Mamaw and get a turkey.  We would put it in a pan with butter, water, salt, and pepper.  We would let it cook for 3 minutes at 450 degrees.  Then we would eat it with deviled eggs, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, rolls, macaroni and cheese, and chocolate cake.

Sophia Allgood – First, I would go to a barn and get the turkey.  Next, I would put it in the blender with eggs and corn.  Then bake it on 50 degrees for 5 minutes.  Take it out of the oven and eat it with Mrs. Hackworth.

Alyssa Colvin – First, I would get my turkey at Wal-Mart.  Then I would take it home and cook it on the stove.  I would cook it for 7 minutes on hot.  I would eat my turkey with a spoon.  My mommy would eat too.

Breanna Cox – My Mom, Dad, brother, sister, and me would go to Food City and get our turkey.  We would take it home and put salt, sunflower seeds, and a little bit of ham on the turkey.  Then we would put it in the microwave for 5 minutes.  Last thing I would do is eat it like a sandwich.

Logan Dotson – I would get my turkey from the turkey man.  I would take it home to fix it. I would put water on my turkey and put it in the oven. I would bake it on 80 degrees for 100 minutes.  Then I would eat it with my Mom and Dad.

Sophia Dotson – First, I would get my turkey at Wal-Mart.  Then, I would take it home.  I would fix it with butter and lemon sauce.  Then put it in the oven for 40 minutes.  Last, I would eat my turkey with my family and cousins.

Ian Easley – First, I would go to Wal-Mart all by myself to get my turkey.  Next, I would go home and fix my turkey.  I would put salt, pepper and strawberries on my turkey.  Then I would put it in the oven for 5 minutes.  Last, I would take it out and feed my family.

Piper Hall – First, I would go to the store with my Gran and get a turkey.  Next, I would take it home and cook it for 2 minutes on warm.  Then take it out of the oven and put salt and pepper on it. Last, I would eat my turkey with tomatoes and nothing else.

Brooke Howard – First, I would get my turkey at Food City.  Next, I would take it home and let it soak in water for a few hours.  That would make it clean.  Then we would bake it for a few hours.  Last, I would eat the turkey with mac and cheese and banana pudding.

Slade Hyden – First, I would go to Wal-Mart, not Super Wal-Mart.  The one that is in Kentucky.  Next, I would go to the house and cook it for 60 minutes on 400 degrees.  I would fix mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, and ham.  Last, I would take all the stuff to Mamaw’s house to eat.  My Mamaw will fix a turkey so we will eat 2 turkeys.

Amos Jackson – The first thing I would do is kill it.  I would go to the woods to kill it.  Next, I would bring it home and bake it.  I would put butter, flour, milk, and pumpkin on it.  I would bake it on 100 degrees in the oven, not the microwave because it would not fit.  My Mom and Dad would help me.  Last, I would eat it with pumpkin pie, chips, cookies, and cake.  Oh, boiled eggs too!

Macy Mills – First, I would go to Wal-Mart with my Mom and Dad to get the turkey.  Then, I would cook the turkey in the stove for about 20 seconds.  Last, I would eat the turkey with dressing, corn, beans, and salad with that good salad dressing that you get at Wal-Mart.

Barrett Moore – I am not sure where I would get my turkey, but I think the freezer.  Then, I would help my Nan fix the turkey.  We would not put anything on it. We will just put it in the oven for 30 minutes.  When it is ready my Nan will fix pizza, waffles, and bacon because I don’t like turkey.

Carson Music – First, I would go to Wal-Mart and get my turkey.  When I got home I would put it in the microwave for 10 minutes.  Then I would cut it up and put toppings on it.

Cameron Ogle – First, I would go to Wal-Mart and get my turkey.  Next, I would go home and put some spices on the turkey.  I would put it in the oven for 30 minutes on 20 degrees.  Then I would take it out.  Last, I would eat apples, green beans, and the turkey.  My drink would be a Coke Float.

Caleb Patel – I would go to Wal-Mart with my Dad and get a turkey.  Next, I would put stuff on it and put it in the oven for 10 minutes on 45 degrees.  Last, I would eat it with a fork.

Parker Perry – I would go to the store and get the turkey with my Mommy and Daddy.  Next, I would cook it on the stove for 3 days.  Last, I would eat it with gravy and mashed potatoes.

Mason Reed – I would go to Food City to get my turkey.  After I got home I would bake my turkey in the oven for 2 hours.  Then I would eat my turkey with salt.

Braxton Smith – I would go to Wal-Mart to pick my turkey out.  Next, I would go home and fix it.  I would put it in the oven for 1 minute on real, real, hot!  I would take it out of the oven and go back to Wal-Mart to get cereal.  Last, I would go home and eat the turkey and cereal with Mommy and Daddy.

Callen Ward – I would go to Wal-Mart and get my turkey.  Then I would go home and cut it up and put salt on it.  I would put it in the oven for 10 minutes on 90 degrees.  I would eat it after it got done.

Braxton Warrix – First, I would get my turkey at Wal-Mart.  Next, I would take it home and help my Mommy make it.  Last, I would eat it with popcorn.

Lizzie Williams – Mom and I would go to Wal-Mart to get our turkey.  I would go home and bake it.  I would put it in the turkey dough and pudding.  Then I would put pumpkin seeds on the turkey with water.  I would bake my turkey in the oven for 7 hours on a little bit hot.  When it came out of the oven I would put it on a big plate and eat it with my family.

 

Our Lady of the Mountains School

Miles Brown – My Dad is going to buy and bow and arrow and get a turkey. Then you have to oven it. He has to put on his mittens to keep his hands from getting burned. He will peel the skin off because I love turkey with no skin. I love Dad’s turkey. He won’t put anything on it because I don’t like toppings. It will bake for 4 hours. It will look really tasty and really good. We will have rolls and Wendy’s chicken, I love Wendy’s chicken and some Poweraid. My Dad and my Mom and brothers will be there.

Ian Martin – I’m gonna get my turkey at Walmart, and put it in my kitchen, usually near the bread. My mamaw will put it in a pan and put it on a tray. She will put some spices, like salt and pepper on it, but not the kind of pepper that’s stinging hot. That wouldn’t taste good on turkey. She bakes it maybe 20 minutes at 55 degrees. I looks delicious when its done. It looks crispy and brown, because you don’t want your turkey looking too black! We will have mashed potatoes and dumplings and banana pudding for dessert. My family will come to my house to eat.

Kemper Mollette – Shaun and me are going to shoot the turkey and then I’m going to stab it to make sure its dead. Then we will peel off the skin. I like my turkey plain, so we will cook it for one hour on low. When its done the legs will be sticking out and it will be brown. We will eat macaroni, chicken legs, and mashed potatoes. My friends and family will eat at my house. We will have ice cream for dessert.

Silas Burchett – Mamaw and Mom wash the turkey, then butter it up and put salt and pepper and put it in the deep fryer. Clean up the table, out on the tablecloth and put a candle in the center of the table. Then we wait for the visitors to come. Then we eat all the turkey, macaroni and cheese, carrots, and pumpkin pie.

Joseph Kousa – Mommy will cook the turkey like magic. She puts it on a plate. She puts the turkey in the oven. It won’t take that long. It’s going to taste good. We can say our prayer before we eat. We will have pie, brownies, and food for Thanksgiving.

Landon Dawson – We need to kill the turkey first. We take off the head, legs, and feathers first. We put salt on it and put it in the fryer. It will look delicious and we will eat it. Bray Bray and Dad will eat with me. We will also have mashed potatoes and green beans.

 

Central Elementary School – Mrs. Bowen’s kindergarten class

Aubrey Adams – I would go to Food City to get my 50 lb turkey. I would wash it and dry it with a towel. I would stuff it with strawberries and apples. I would put it in the microwave. I would cook it for 12 minutes. I would eat it with a fork and a plate. My dad would love my turkey.

Journey Barnes – I would go to Arvey’s house to get a 5 lb turkey. I would stuff my turkey with McDonald’s hamburgers. I would put it in a pot and fry it. I would eat it with stuffing. My mom would love my turkey.

Johnna Butcher – I would go out in the hills and kill a 100 lb turkey. I would drag it home. I would get the feathers off it with a little knife. I would stuff it with turkey sandwich meat and cook it over the campfire. I would eat with a fork. Jacob, Emily, Verla, Ronnie, my mom, my dad and my sisters would love my turkey.

Jurnee Chandler – I would go to Wal- Mart to get my turkey. I would pay $5 for a 100 lb turkey. I would cut it in half with a knife. I would put it in a 6 degree oven for 40 hours. I would eat my turkey with a fork and also a knife- so I could stab it. My family would love my turkey.

Zoe Cooper – I would go to the cooking store to buy my turkey. I would pay $50 for a 60lb turkey.I would take my turkey. I would stuff it with bar-b-que sauce . I would slice it and chop it. I would put it in a pan. I would put it in a really hot oven and cook it for 1 hour. I would eat it with a fork.

Tracy Eli Butcher – I would go to the Kitchen at Eli’s house to get my turkey. I would cook it. I would take it to school and eat it with my friends.

David Music – I would go to Wal-Mart. I would pay $100 for a thousand pound turkey I would stuff it with chicken and cheese. I would put it in the bottom of the stove for 100 hours. I would eat it with a fork, a spoon and a knife.

Jagger Webb – I would go to Wal- Mart. I would pay $6 for a seven lb turkey. I would stuff it with corn and pumpkins. I would put it in a 10 degree oven for 5 minutes. I would eat it with bread meatloaf. My mom would love my turkey.

Pete Sites – I would go to Wal-Mart. I would pay $6 dollars for a 2 lb turkey. I would stuff it with eggs/I would put my turkey in a 20 degree oven for ten minutes. I would eat my turkey with noodles.

Avery Roman – I would go to the Dollar Store and get a 6 pound turkey for 7 dollars. I would stuff it with bananas. I would put it in a oven that was just a little bit hot and bake it for 10 minutes. I would eat my turkey mommy and grandma.

Isabella Reynolds – I would go to Wal-Mart and buy a 8 pound turkey for $8. I would stuff it with lots of meat. I would cook my turkey in a pan on top of the stove for 2 seconds. I would eat my turkey with green beans, carrots and lettuce. My mommy and daddy would say, “ This turkey is delicious.”

Joshua Picklesimer – I would go to Wal-Mart to buy a 2 lb turkey. I would pay $1 for my turkey. I would stuff my turkey with yellow rice – I love yellow rice. I would cook my turkey in a 4 degree oven for 10 hours. I would bring my turkey to school and eat it with Pete Sites and Jagger Webb.

Ayden Osborne – I can get a turkey that is bigger than I am from the animal shelter. I will take the turkey to my house. I will stuff it with baby chicks. I will cook it in the oven for 6 months. I will eat it with spaghetti.

Carter McKenzie – I will go to El Alzule to get a really big turkey. I will pay $2 for my turkey. My turkey will already be cooked. I will get some fried ice cream and some fries to eat with my turkey. My papaw and my brother will eat my turkey with me- they will love it!

Abby Gullett – I will go to Wal- Mart. I will pay $10 for a 10 lb turkey. I will stuff my turkey with bananas and strawberries. I will put my turkey in a 22 degree oven for 7 minutes. I will eat my turkey with mashed potatoes and strawberries. My mommy and daddy will love my turkey. We will take the leftovers to my Meme’s house.

Emily Frazier – I will go to Wal-Mart. I will pay $5 for a 3 lb turkey. I stuff my turkey with chicken. I will put my turkey in a 5 degree oven for just a little bit. I will eat my turkey with Reese Cups. I will feed my turkey to another turkey- It will be a fun Thanksgiving.

Sebastian Adams – I would go to Food City to get a 4 lb turkey. I would pay $30 for my turkey. I would stuff it with chicken, roast beef and noodles. I would put it in a pot and boil it for 3 minutes. I would eat it with chicken nuggets. My mommy would say, “ You are the new turkey cooker for Thanksgiving!”

Lexi Cantrell – I would go to the Dollar Tree to get a 6 lb turkey. I would pay $ 50 for my turkey. I would take my turkey home. I would stuff my turkey with a spoon. I would put my turkey in a 100 degree oven for 5 minutes. I would eat my turkey with catsup. My mommy would like my turkey.

Carson Cavins – I would go the Central school lunchroom to get a 10 lb turkey. I would stuff it with chicken. I would bake it in a 50 degree oven for 10 minutes. I would eat it with white dressing. My mommy would love my turkey.

Willie Evans – I would go to Wal-Mart to get a 10 lb turkey for $14 dollars. I would stuff my turkey in a stove for about 2 hours. I would eat it with bread.

Amber Willieams – I would go to our lunchroom to get a really big turkey. I would take it home and stuff it full of carrots. I would fry it on top of the stove. I would eat it with ham,and carrots. Isabella and Aubrey would come over and eat it with me.

Makaylyn Mills – I will go to Wal- Mart. I will pay $4 for a 5 lb turkey. I will stuff my turkey with chicken . I will put my turkey in a 5 degree oven for 45 hours. We will eat my turkey with spoons.

Jayden McGinnis – I will go to Wal- Mart. I will pay $50 for a 60 lb turkey. I will stuff my turkey with Stove Top Stuffing. I will get a needle and thread out and sew it up really good. I will put it in a 65 degree oven for 70 minutes. I will not eat my turkey because I do not like turkey. My daddy will eat it all up with a fork. If there is any left my mommy will get some too.

 

Central Elementary School – Miss VanHoose’s kindergarten class

Austin Blevins – I would go get a turkey from the field and kill it.  I put it in a giant cup and put pumpkin seeds in it.  Then I put it in the oven on real hot, 46 degrees for 6 hours.  I will fix mashed potatoes to go with it.

Ashley Bowen – I will go hunt a turkey and kill it .  Daddy kills it and brings it home.   Put it in a pan and put little pumpkins in it.  I put big pumpkins around it.  I will put it a hot oven for 50,000 minutes. I fix beef stew with it.

Arabella Bowen – I would go to the market and get a turkey.  I’d stuff it with all kinds of ingredients like lettuce, cabbage, dumplings, chicken legs and carrots.  Put it in a pan and cook in the oven for 65 minutes on 33 degrees. I’m gonna fix corn, meatloaf, chicken noodle soup, chicken and dumplings, fried eggs, deviled eggs, and bread with it.

Kyleigh Calhnun- I would go to Walmart and get a turkey and take it to my room when I get home.  Put the turkey in a bowl and put sugar and pumpkin on it.  I will put it in the oven for 3 minutes on 2 degrees.  I will fix pumpkin pie and apple pie for dessert.

Shane Daniels – I will hunt for a turkey in a field at my dad’s graveyard.  I will take it home and get the feathers off it .  Put it in a pan and put salt and pepper on it. Put some stuff on it so it won’t burn.  Put it in the oven for 65 seconds on 55 degrees.  I will fix some chicken, potato wedges and eggs with it.

Chayse Deer – I will go hunt and kill a turkey.  I will take the feathers off when I get home.  Put it in a pan in a real hot oven for 800 hours.  I will fix mashed potatoes to go with it.

Jacob Gass – I will go in the forest to get a turkey.  Bring in home and pick the feathers off it.  Put it in a big pan and put salt, pepper and just a little bit of hot peppers on it.  Cook it in the oven on 2 degrees for 5 hours.

Dalton Lewis – I will go to Walmart to get a turkey for ten dollars.   I will bring it home and put it in a frying pan.  I will put syrup and salt and pepper on it.  Put it in the oven on 200 degrees for 200 minutes.  I will fix blueberry pie.

Chloe Green – I will go find a turkey in the woods.  Bring it home and cook it in the oven.  Put macaroni and cheese on it.  Cook it on warm for 10 minutes.  I will fix cupcakes and pumpkin pie.

Rhianna McCoy – I will go to the store and buy a turkey at Walmart.  I will put it in a big pan and cook it in the oven.  Put green stuff around it.  Cook it on 1 degree for 5 min.   I will cut it up so I don’t get choked. Put it on a plate when it is done.  I will fix pumpkin pie for dessert.

Trenton Wireman – Daddy will go to Wendy’s to get a turkey.  Mommy will put it in a pan and put salt and pepper on it.  Cook it for 5 hours on 5 degrees.  Fix green beans, chocolate pie and cookies.

Emma Dalton – i’ll go to the woods and kill a turkey when I get big.  Put it in a pan and put cookies on it.  Cook it in the microwave for a long time.  Cut it up and fix noodles with it.

Garrett Klinger- I will go to the Dollar Store and get me a turkey.  Put it in a pan and stuff it and cook it in the stove.  Cook it for 78 hours in a little bit hot stove.  I will fix some corn, salad, chicken and mashed potatoes.

Rylan Moore – I will go to the pet shop to get a turkey.  Put it in a cooker and put cookies on it and bake it 4 minutes on 5 degrees.  Put a bell on it and put it on a plate.

Kaycie Sammons – I will go to the grocery store and buy a turkey.  I will put it in a cooker and put tomatoes and salt and pepper on it.  Cook it for 6 minutes on 8 degrees.

Kolton Welch – Daddy, Mommy and me will go to the woods and kill a turkey with a gun.  Take off all the feathers and put it in the oven for 55 minutes on 20 degrees.  Put fruit in it.  Fix mashed potatoes to go with it.

Timmy Ward  – I will go to the woods and get a turkey.  I will skin it and stuff it with beef jerky.  Put in the oven in a fire hot oven and cook it for 40 hours.  Get a plate to put it on.  I will have apples and peanut butter with it.

Johan Oiler – I will go to the barn a get a turkey.  Put it in a pan and put salt and pepper on it.  Stuff it with beef jerky.  Cook it on real hot for 100 minutes.  I’m gonna have cheese, macaroni and ice cream with it.

Tanner Evans – I will go to Walmart to get my turkey. I will put it in a cooker and microwave it for 5 minutes.  Then I will eat it.

 

Central Elementary School – Ms. Meek’s Kindergarten Class

Waylon Fitch – I will get a turkey at the Dollar Store, bring it home, when my oven gets fixed, cook it for 20 minutes on 50 degrees. Then I will put hot sauce on it and make corn to go with the turkey. Then my family will eat, but I don’t eat that much.

Alexis Fryman – I will just get a turkey from Walmart. You cook a turkey at home in a cooker for 5 hours on 5 degrees. Put salt and pepper on it, cut it and put it in a plate and eat it with a fork.

Emilee Gwinn – I will go to Walmart to get the turkey. Then I will put grease in it and cook it at home in the oven for 5 hours at 10 degrees. We will eat mashed potatoes and corn with it.

Jayden Hayden – I will get my turkey at Walmart. I will put it in the stove for 15 minutes on 15 degrees. We will have gravy, meat, fruit and flowers.

Dakodah Laney – I will get my turkey at a store, somewhere, I don’t know where. I will fix it at home in the microwave or something. I will cook it for 8 minutes on 4 degrees. I don’t know what I will fix with it.

Jacob Damron – I will go to the woods and shoot a turkey. Take it home, get butter and put inside it and put it in the oven for 8 minutes on 8 degrees. Put a temperature on it to see how hot it is, then put spices and gravy over it and eat it with my family.

Shae Blanton – I will get a turkey at Walmart. I will go home and bake it for 20 minutes on 1 degree. Then I will put ketchup, mustard and turkey gravy on it. I will make mashed potatoes and then we will eat dinner.

Aubrey Salyers – I would go to Walmart and get a turkey and toppings like garlic, salt and pepper. Then I will cook it in the stove for 40 minutes on 10 degrees. Then I will put it on the table for everyone to eat. I will mkae mashed potatoes, bread, green beans and fried chicken. Then my family will eat.

Maycee Curnell – First, I will get a turkey at Walmart. Then I will take it home and cook it on the stove for 20 minutes on 1 degree. I will put chicken gravy over it and make mashed potatoes and boiled eggs. Me and my family will eat it.

Tori Sexton – I will get a turkey at Walmart. I will cook it in the oven for 18 minutes on HOT. Then I will put salt on it and fix taters and corn to eat with it. My family will all eat together.

Jaycee Curtis – I will get a turkey at the store, take it home and cook it for 5 minutes on 10 degrees. Then I will put sprinkles and flowers on it. And that’s it!

Kionna Meek – I will get a turkey at Walmart. I will cook it in the toaster for 10 minutes on 12 degrees.  We will have meat, macaroni, mashed potatoes and nothing else!

Kaylee Sweeney – I will get a turkey at the grocery store, put it in the oven for 20 minutes on 7 degrees. I will put mashed potatoes on it. Then we will eat.

Bryson Spriggs – I will go get a turkey at the Dollar Store. I will cook it in the kitchen on the stove for 13 minutes on 5 degrees. Then I will take it off the stove and put ketchup, pickles, mustard and salt on it. I will make lettuce to eat with it and my whole family will eat.

Autumn Slone – I will get a turkey at the Dollar Store. I will go home and put it in the oven for 60 minutes on 8 degrees. I will mash a potato, have beans and corn. All my cousins and family will eat.

Tori Moore – I will get a turkey at the turkey store. I will bring it home and fix it in the kitchen, in the oven for 12 minutes on 4 degrees. I will fix salad, fish and that’s it.

Sasha Newsome – I will get a turkey at the Dollar Store. I will put it in the oven for 20 minutes on the red temperature. I will fix salt, tomatoes, sauce, sugar, and macaroni.

Karmyn Reed – I will get a turkey at Wally World and bring it home and cook it at PaPaw’s house on the stove for 8 minutes on 5 degrees. Then I will put gravy, pickles and ham on it. I will make cookies after dinner and play with my cousins.

Gavin Adkins – I will get a turkey at Walmart. Put ketchup and mustard on it and put it in the oven for 5 minutes on 10 degrees. We will have grapes and pickles with it. My family will eat together.

Aria Selke – I will get a turkey at Walmart. I will put it in the oven for 30 minutes on 40 degrees. Then I will put barbecue sauce on it and nothing else. I will make mashed potatoes, corn, meatballs and noodles to go with it.
