Jennifer Lopez is donating one-million-dollars to help with hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
She joined New York Governor Andrew Cuomo in a press conference Sunday to announce the large donation.
Lopez delivered a speech in Spanish first and then English detailing how she plans to use all her resources, alongside her boyfriend, former baseball star Alex Rodriguez, to garner support for the hurricane relief efforts.
The singer said the New York Yankees and the MLB have also committed to help with the cause.
She also said her ex-husband Marc Anthony is working with her to get a team of athletes and artists to aid to the area in the quickest way possible.
Lopez still hasn’t heard from all her family in Puerto Rico following the devastation Hurricane Maria inflicted on the region.
